CDs showing Agrawal distributing money to woo voters have been passed.

Raipur: Action will be taken against BJP candidate and Revenue Minister Brijmohan Agrawal over the sting operation in which he (Agrawal) was shown distributing money to voters during campaigning, Chhattisgarh Chief

Electoral Officer (CEO), Alok Shukla said on Wednesday.

Shukla said that he "had seen the telecast of the sting operation contents over television and an FIR will be registered into the matter."

Congress candidate Yogesh Tiwari, contesting against Agrawal from Raipur-South Assembly constituency, distributed CDs to the mediapersons on Wednesday evening in which Agrawal was shown distributing money during campaigning. Tiwari said the CD was prepared through a sting operation.

Yogesh Tiwari later alleged that the BJP candidate was distributing money and liquor to win away votes.

Besides, he also alleged the administration of adopting partial attitude and not taking action against Agrawal who was violating the poll code.

He said that a formal complaint would be registered with the ECO and added that a CD would also be given to him.
