Patna: Alleging that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was harassing people for his security, RJD leader Rabri Devi on Monday advised Nitish to make the sky his abode if he wanted "extreme security."
"People are being frisked and tormented by the men in uniform around one Anne Marg residence of the Chief Minister. It is not appropriate as even needy persons are intercepted and harassed," Rabri Devi complained.
The former chief minister said public representatives should take extra care for the security and safety of the common man.
"The criminals are at large and the present government is not in a position to rein in their activities," she said and alleged that the Nitish Kumar government lacked "will power" to run the state.
"Unrest in universities, killings of innocent people particularly businessmen, kidnapping of students, extortion demand from doctors and atrocities on women have become the order of the day in Bihar," she alleged.
Rabri Devi accused Nitish Kumar of "playing into the hands of communal and fascist forces" and said nothing tangible was visible in the name of development which the NDA had promised while seeking votes.
