However, things seem like going up a notch as the campaign has lined up a fixture between two of the sport’s greatest rivals as India take on Pakistan in Ahmedabad on Saturday and the excitement is palpable.

The aura of the intense rivalry spares no one as evidenced by top-billed movie stars of the nation sharing their experiences and expectations ahead of the heated encounter.
Star sports shared a video compilation of multiple superstars from the cinema industry, including evergreen actor Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Shraddha Kapoor, Vijay Deverakonda, Ishaan Khattar and music sensation Hardy Sandhu all featured on the video.

Bachchan, one of the nation’s finest actors, opened the video with a description of the essence of the clash in his trademark voice.
Kaif said, “I’m going to at home watching the match with my friends and family and cheering the team on.”

“I’m exactly like everybody else when it comes to an India-Pakistan match,” expressed Kapoor.

The video came to a close with Sandhu’s rendition of a song expressing the highlights of the heated encounter.
India and Pakistan have registered two wins each in the showpiece as the men in blue notched up big wins against Australia in their opener and followed it up with yet another win over Afghanistan.
Pakistan on the other hand, started their campaign with a win over The Netherlands before registering another win over Sri Lanka.
The much-anticipated game between two of the great cricketing nations gets underway at 2 PM IST on Saturday.
