Virat Kohli has become a father for the second time and his fans are going gaga over it. The ace Indian batter and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, shared the good news on Tuesday via social media, confirming that they have welcomed a baby boy and named them ‘Akaay’. It also helped the cricket fanatics understand why the former captain made himself unavailable for the entire Test series against England.

Prior to the commencement of the series, Kohli had informed the BCCI that he wouldn’t be able to play the first two Tests due to personal issues. Later when the squad for the last three Tests were announced, it was confirmed that he won’t be returning for the remaining series. While the fans kept speculating about the reason for his absence, the BCCI respected Kohli’s privacy and also requested the fans and the media for the same.
On Tuesday, Kohli finally broke his silence and announced the arrival of his second child who was born on February 15.
