The revised counselling timetable states that the choice filling and payment must be done from December 18 to 21 and the seat allotment will be issued on December 22

The revised schedule for the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Super Speciality (NEET SS)  2023 counselling round 2 has been officially issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Registration for the second round of NEET SS 2023 counselling will now start on December 18 and end on December 21. On the MCC website, mcc.nic.in, candidates may view the updated schedule for Round 2 of the All India Counselling process for D.M./M.Ch./DNB SS seats.

According to the revised counselling timetable, choice filling and payment will be accessible from December 18 to December 21, with seat allotment being processed on December 22.

On December 23, the results of the NEET SS 2023 Round 2 counselling will be released. Those who have been assigned seats in round 2 must report to their assigned colleges/institutions between December 24 and December 31.

NEET SS 2023 Counselling Round 2 Revised Schedule: How to download

Step 1: Navigate to mcc.nic.in, the official website for NEET SS Counselling.

Step 2: Select “Super Speciality” from the menu on the homepage.

Step 3: Navigate to Services/Schedule and choose “All India Round 2 SS Counselling Schedule dated 13.12.2023.”

Step 4: A PDF will appear on the screen. Check the revised counselling dates mentioned.

Step 5: Download and print the NEET SS 2023 round 2 revised counselling schedule for future reference.

The results of the NEET SS 2023, which took place on September 29 and 30, were announced on October 15. There were 150 questions asked in the exam, and according to the marking system, each question was worth four marks. To generate the final results, no marks are granted for questions that are not attempted, and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

The medical group’s NEET SS 2022 cut-off was reduced from 272 to 188, the surgical group’s cut-off was reduced from 285 to 225, and the obstetrical and gynaecological group’s cut off was reduced from 357 to 305.

Among the 13 disciplines tested in the NEET SS were medical, pharmacology, obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, pathology, anaesthesiology, radiodiagnosis, microbiology, psychiatry, surgery, paediatrics, respiratory medicine and orthopaedics. 156 public and private medical schools, as well as Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) institutions, use the NEET SS to admit students to 2,447 seats in Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Surgery (MCh) programmes.
