The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has sounded its poll bugle for the Lok Sabha elections with the release of a new song titled ‘Fir Aayega Modi‘ (Modi will be back). The song, released before the grand inaugural event of Ram Temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya, says that with wisdom given by Lord Ram, people will vote Prime Minister Narendra Modi back to power.

Posting the video of the song on X, BJP wrote in Hindi, “There will be drum roll, on the ground of work! Ram ji will give wisdom, and Modi will come again. Modi is not an individual, he is the respect of the country. He represents the hopes of 140 crore people. Modi will back, Modi will back.”

The lyrics of the song emphasise various big decisions of the PM Modi-led government including the construction of the Ram Temple, the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the ‘surgical strike’ on Pakistan and the road network built across the country.

The song also targets the Opposition’s Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance, commonly known by its backronym I.N.D.I.A bloc.

With the song, BJP once again asserted that PM Modi is the mascot, and the party is the culture, with the Prime Minister’s persona dominating the campaign.

The saffron party also fought the recently concluded state election under PM Modi’s face, majority of the results in its favour.

After a landslide victory in recently concluded assembly polls in the Hindi heartland, the BJP is reportedly planning to announce its candidates for the Lok Sabha by January end. There are also speculations that the party’s top brass is encouraging a few Rajya Sabha heavyweights to take the field, according to a report published by The Times of India.
