The race of golden bat and golden ball of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is well and truly heating up. Mohammad Rizwan surpassed Indian duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to take the top spot in the leading run-scorers list for the World Cup. Rizwan slammed 46 runs during Pakistan’s defeat to Australia.
The wicketkeeper batter has scored 294 runs in four games, as he went past Indian captain Rohit who had earlier scored 48 runs in the win over Bangladesh. The Hitman has a tally of 265 runs in four matches, and he’s just ahead of Virat Kohli who slammed a century against Bangla Tigers. Kohli has amassed 259 runs in four outings.
New Zealand’s Devon Conway has fallen to fourth place in the golden bat race with 249 runs in four games, while South African ace Quinton de Kock rounds off the top five with 229 runs in three games under his belt.

Australian opener David Warner scored a 163-run knock and jumped to sixth place in the golden bat race, just ahead of Rachin Ravindra of New Zealand who has 215 runs after four games.
Sri Lanka’s stand-in captain Kusal Mendis has 207 runs in three games, followed by Pak opener Abdullah Shafique who has 197 runs in three matches, followed by Dawid Malan who has 186 runs in three games.

New Zealand spinner Mitchell Santner is leading the race for Golden Ball at the ODI World Cup 2023, with 11 wickets in four games. Jasprit Bumrah is in second place with 10 scalps in four outings.
New Zealand’s Matt Henry is in third place with nine wickets in four games, followed by Pakistan ace Shaheen Afridi who is up to fourth place after his five-wicket haul against Australia.
Shaheen has nine wickets in four games, while he’s level with Adam Zampa who also picked up a four-wicket haul with nine wickets in four matches. Haris Rauf is in sixth place who has eight wickets in four outings, and Ravindra Jadeja is in seventh place with as many wickets.
Kagiso Rabada has seven wickets in four matches, followed by Bas de Leede of the Netherlands who is level with Jadeja, Rabada and Pakistan’s Hasan Ali who rounds off the top ten.
