Pakistan’s ace of pace Shaheen Afridi starred as he picked up four scalps in the game which was eventually washed out due to rain. Afridi picked up the wickets of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in quick fashion which put the Indian team under massive pressure.
T20 and ODI World-Cup winner S Sreesanth thinks that Pakistan was lucky to have gotten rid of Kohli so early.
“It was unfortunate for India. Pakistan were lucky to get Virat Kohli’s wicket because it was an inside edge. I don’t count it as a wicket. I know him personally, which is why I know what would have been going through his mind after seeing Pakistan’s celebration. I am just waiting for the next India-Pakistan match,” Sreesanth told Sportskeeda.

Afridi also managed to get a unique record where he became the first bowler to dismiss both Rohit and Kohli by getting them clean bowled in the same match.
The last Pakistan bowler to do so was Mohammad Amir who dismissed both in the Champions Trophy 2017 final but did not get them bowled.
Sreesanth also commented on Rohit and Kohli’s approach.
“I won’t say Rohit Sharma Sharma has always struggled against left-arm pacers. When you are in good form, everything clicks. He started off quite well, hitting flick even off a good ball. Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli looked very good. After watching Virat Kohli’s cover drive, I thought he would score a century. Just wait for the next match. Let any left-arm pacer come, we will dominate him,” said the former India fast bowler.

With the Super 4 stage now underway India will meet Pakistan again this Sunday.
India will be wary of the lethal Pakistan pace-attack and hope to produce a good show this time around.
Jasprit Bumrah will also make his return to the side after leaving the squad due to personal reasons.
Babar Azam and his men have already secured their first victory in the Super 4 stage after they defeated Bangladesh by bowling them out for a mere 193 and chasing the target within 40 overs.
