Hero MotoCorp has rolled out the first Karizma XMR from its factory. This further indicates that the production of the bike at the Hero plant has already begun.
Also, the brand will start the nationwide deliveries of the bike later this month. The Karizma XMR comes with an attractive price tag of just Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can book the bike at a token amount of R 3000.
Underneath its sleek and eye-catching exterior, the Karizma XMR proudly showcases a brand-new chassis that has been crafted with precision and care. At the front, it sports a conventional telescopic fork, while the rear brings a burst of power with a 6-step adjustable mono-shock.
This mighty motorcycle carries forward its sporty legacy, featuring a sharp sport fairing, a stylish LED headlamp, a windscreen that can be adjusted to your liking, and a tail section complemented by a comfortable split seat.
Furthermore, the bike is powered by a 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine, delivering a 25.15 bhp at 9,250 rpm, along with a torque of 20.4 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, complete with a slip-and-assist clutch for the ultimate control.
In terms of brakes, the Karizma XMR offers a single petal-type disc up front and a disc brake at the rear coupled with a dual-channel ABS system.
The bike rivals the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, Yamaha R15 V4, and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200.
