The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will be closing the registration portal for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 today, November 3. Those who plan to sit for the CLAT 2024 exam need to make sure that they wrap up their registrations as soon as possible. To submit an application for CLAT 2024, go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in, the Consortium of NLUs’ official website.
The CLAT 2024 test will be held on December 3 from 2 PM to 4 PM. It is recommended that applicants familiarise themselves with the test format and practise with some of the provided sample question papers in order to better prepare for the actual test.
In order to be considered for undergraduate admission to CLAT 2024, candidates must guarantee that they received at least 45 per cent on their Class 12 board exams. Candidates from the SC and ST categories, however, must meet a lower requirement of 40 per cent.
CLAT 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in, the Consortium of NLUs’ official website.
Step 2: Select the registration link for CLAT 2024 from the homepage.
Step 3: Register yourself by filling out the necessary information.
Step 4: After finishing, complete the application and pay the required fees.
Step 5: Click the submit button and then download the application form page.
Step 6: Print out the CLAT 2024 application and print a copy of the confirmation slip for your records.
CLAT 2024: Exam Pattern
There will be 120 questions in this CLAT 2024, and candidates have up to two hours to finish it. Correct answers will earn the candidates one mark, while incorrect answers will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
CLAT 2024: Application Fee
The application fees have been set as Rs 4000 for applicants in the General, OBC, PWD, and NRI categories and Rs 3500 for those in the SC, ST, and BPL categories. The bank transaction fees associated with making the online payment will be borne by the candidates themselves.
The Consortium of NLUs has made available four sets of sample question papers to aid applicants in their preparation. These exams ensure that students have a thorough grasp of the updated test pattern by covering both undergraduate and graduate programmes.
For admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities in India, candidates must pass the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), a national entrance test.
