CBSE Registrations for Young Professional to End Tomorrow; Walk-in Interview on March 8

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is seeking online applications from eligible candidates to appear for a walk-in interview for the position of ‘Young Professional’ (Social Media Management). According to the official notification, the appointment of the selected applicants will be done on a contractual basis for one year. The board mentioned that this period might be extended by one year, based on the performance evaluation and organisational needs in the Media and Public Relations Unit of CBSE Headquarters in New Delhi.

It is to be noted that candidates who are willing to apply can submit their applications by visiting the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education at cbse.nic.in. The last date for submitting the online applications is tomorrow, March 7, 2024.

Following this, applicants will have to appear for a walk-in interview on March 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. They must visit the CBSE headquarters in Preet Vihar, Delhi on the 2nd Floor of the Conference Hall along with a print out of their duly filled application form. They must also ensure to bring their original documents during the walk-in Interview.

CBSE Young Professional Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Young Professional Social Media Management position should possess a bachelor’s degree with experience in social media, digital media, digital media tools, and software, including video editing tools, graphic design software, and content management systems. In addition to this, applicants must be familiar with search engine optimisation (SEO) and search channel optimisation (SCO). They must be able to create compelling and engaging social media content and manage social media platforms.

The board also seeks candidates who are familiar with government policies and procedures regarding social and digital media and are aware of legal and ethical considerations related to social media.

To be eligible, the board seeks candidates who have prior experience in managing social media accounts in a professional or organisational setting.

The official notification further stated that the selected candidates will work under the supervision of the Head of the Media and Public Relations unit on the Board. In addition to that, as informed by the Board in the official notice, the day-to-day responsibilities of the candidates will include the following:

1. Managing the social media platform of the Central Board of Secondary Education.

2. Creating social media content and ensuring timely posting and dissemination.

3. Assist in developing and executing social media strategies.

4. Disseminating and engaging with online communities appropriately. Growing followers, engagement, and outreach.

5. Analysing and using social media metrics /data to track performance, suggest changes for social media strategies, and make informed decisions.

6. Run campaigns/drives on social media.

7. Upskilling and updating social media.

8. Other related work concerning the board’s requirement for social media Management/Operation.

As mentioned in the official notification, the selected candidates will get a consolidated remuneration of Rs 60,000 (including applicable TDS) for carrying out work according to the scope of work.
