The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow will issue the admit cards for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 tomorrow, November 7. Candidates who have registered for the MBA entrance exam will be able to access their hall tickets from the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
The IIM Lucknow will administer the CAT 2023 on November 26, this year, across 155 cities. The exam will be conducted in three shifts – Morning, Afternoon, and Evening. The morning shift is from 8.30 am to 10.30 am, the afternoon shift is scheduled from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm, and the evening shift will be held from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
To retrieve the admit card, students will have to enter their user ID and password on the CAT 2023 admit card link. The IIM CAT 2023 admit card will have details like exam date and timing, centre, shift allotted, and important exam day guidelines. Candidates are advised to carefully read and follow the instructions mentioned in it.
CAT Admit Card 2023: How To Download
Step 1: Go to the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on – ‘Download IIM CAT Admit Card’ when activated.
Step 3: Then enter the login details (User ID and Password) and click on submit.
Step 4: The CAT 2023 admit card will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Check and download the hall ticket.
CAT 2023: Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme
The CAT exam is a computer-based exam with 100 questions divided into three portions. Each portion has a time restriction of 40 minutes, and there are no interruptions between sections. The Quantitative Aptitude (QA) will consist of a total of 22 questions for 66 marks. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) will feature a total of 24 questions carrying 72 marks. In the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) section, there will be 20 questions for 60 marks. Each right answer in the exam is worth three marks. Candidates will, however, lose one mark for every wrong answer.
According to reports, about 3.3 lakh candidates registered for the CAT 2023 – the highest ever since the start of the entrance exam. There has been an increase of 75,000 registrations as against 2022, reports added. A total of 1,164 institutions will provide admission to MBA courses based on CAT scores, including 1,026 private and 138 government colleges.
