Back in 2018, Tara Sutaria and Aadar Jain had met at Karan Johar’s Diwali party. After a few appearances together, they had made their relationship Instagram official in 2020. But now in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Tara confirmed for the first time that the relationship has indeed ended and even shares an update on her current dating life. “I’m not in a relationship,” she tells us. Tara and Aadar were in a relationship for almost 2 years before calling it quits.

Speaking about how she and her parents have learnt to turn a blind eye towards her dating rumours, the Ek Villain Returns and Heropanti 2 actor says, “No, they don’t bother me. I’ve the coolest parents in the world. When they read all these things about me in the morning, they come to me and we share a nice laugh over a cup of tea. We keep reading about me being paired with X, Y or Z. This has been happening even before my first film released.”

As per rumour mills, Tara and Aadar parted amicably and have decided to remain friends. However, they haven’t been spotted together in recent times.

Meanwhile on the work front, Tara will next be seen in Apurva, a survival thriller (set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on November 15) where she plays the protagonist who gets kidnapped ahead of her wedding. Speaking about how it took a toll on her, Tara pointed out, “There would be days when I had to scream and howl and do action all day in Jaisalmer where we were shooting. At the end of the day, I had to teach myself how to unlearn things that happened in the day because it would be so draining. It affected me but it was important to cut off from the world of Apurva.”
