Shaitaan Trailer Out: The trailer of Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer Shaitaan is finally out. It was released on Thursday at an event in Mumbai which was also attended by the two actors. Shaitaan is an edge-of-the-seat supernatural thriller and presents Ajay and R Madhavan in their intense avatars.
The trailer opens with R Madhavan entering Ajay Devgn’s house only to reveal that he has taken charge of the latter’s daughter. Madhavan calls Devgn’s daughter his ‘katputli’ and declares himself as ‘bhagwaan’. The trailer features several spine-chilling visuals of the devil’s symbols and motifs. It also stars Ajay Devgn and Jyothika as they unravel the mystery and fight for their daughter’s freedom. Watch it here:
Soon after the trailer was shared, several fans reacted to it and expressed excitement for the movie. “Each and every second I got goosebumps," one of the fans wrote. “Can’t wait for this masterpiece love you Ajay sir," another added. “Ajay and R Madhavan in one movie!! A bomb of intense acting," a third comment read.
Ajay Devgn announced Shaitaan earlier this year. The film is presented by Jio Studios, Devgn Films and Panorama Studios. It is being produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak and directed by Vikas Bahl.
Shaitaan marks Jyotika’s first Bollywood film in 25 years. She made her acting debut with Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, in Hindi, back in 1997. She then explored the Tamil film industry and made a mark for herself in the South. She returned to Bollywood in 2001 for the bilingual film Little John. The film is set to hit theatres on March 8, 2024.
Meanwhile, besides Shaitaan, Ajay Devgn will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham 3 aka Singham Again this year. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. Ajay also has Raid 2 in the kitty. The actor is also waiting to release his sports film, Maidaan.
