Navya Nanda revealed her brother Agastya Nanda has been 'rockin n rollin' since his childhood.

One of the most awaited films of the year, Netflix’s ‘The Archies’ has released its first song ‘Sunoh,’ featuring Dot (Aditi), Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda. The aesthetically designed music video gives you a glimpse into the lives of all the characters, with segments of Agastya Nanda’s character strumming the guitar with his hand. While the song continues to receive love from the public, Navya Naveli Nanda had shared a throwback video revealing how her brother Agastya was always ready to ‘Rock N Roll’.

‘The Archies’ is a coming-of-age musical following the lives of the town’s favourite set of teenagers by filmmaker Zoya Akhtar. Taking to her Instagram handle on Thursday, Navya dropped an adorable childhood video of Agastya Nanda,mimicking playing a toy guitar stylishly. The clip was interlaced with cuts from the ‘Sunoh’ song, in which Agastya takes the centre stage as Archie. She wrote in the caption, “Been Rockin’ and Rollin’ for a while Archie ♥️ #Sunoh.”

Reacting to the sweet shoutout, mother Shweta Bachchan wrote, “Ahahahahahaha. I remember this, adorable ❤️.” Abhishek Bachchan commented, “Our Little Rock star, all grown up. .”

Zoya Akhtar wrote, ” Meant to be ❤️.” Other celebs too like Dia Mirza, Sikandar Kher, Sonali Bendre, Kunal K Kapoor also left heartfelt reactions.

‘Sunoh,’ is a song created by the ingenious duo of Ankur Tewari and The Islanders, lyrically woven by the maestro Javed Akhtar and the young and talented Dot, harmoniously performed by Tejas Menon and Shivam Mahadevan. ‘Sunoh’ helps viewers to immerse into the exciting world of ‘The Archies,’ introducing the characters of the film.

Legendary Lyricist Javed Akhtar said “Writing ‘Sunoh’ was like unlocking a time capsule of the 1960s’ rock and roll era. It’s a musical experience that bridges the past and present, celebrating the enduring essence of this iconic period through melody and lyrics. Being a part of ‘The Archies’ has allowed me to rediscover the magic of an era that has deeply impacted generations.”

In the Netflix film, Suhana plays Veronica, a character she described as someone with a magnetic personality. “She is unabashedly herself and she knows her worth. That’s something I’m learning from her,” she added.

According to the makers, the 1960s-set film explores friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion through the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton. It will take audiences to the fictional hilly town of Riverdale.
