Megha Ghadge shared a throwback with Laxmikant Berde. In the Instagram post, she recalled that even after nearly two decades, she feels that Laxmikant Berde might just call her someday, like earlier times. In the heartfelt message, she wrote, “Actually, even today, after almost 19 years, it feels like, suddenly, Lakshya Mama will get a call and will shout, saying, Call Mahesh (Mahesh Kothare) now. Nobody can have any idea that the first released movie of my life and the last released movie with The Laxmikant Berde could be the same.”
She added, “The experience of working with those whose comedy timing I grew up with in my childhood, whose improvisation still seems irresistible and those who made Maharashtra and India laugh out loud, was enriching. We all miss you. Through your immortal work, artwork and outstanding performances, you are still alive in all of our lives.”
Pachadlela, which was released almost 19 years ago in 2004, became one of the most popular films in the history of Marathi cinema. The film was directed by Mahesh Kothare and was a perfect blend of comedy and horror, a genre that has always relatively remained unexplored in the Indian film industry. The project had various spine-chilling scenes and also offered a roller-coaster ride to the viewers, making it instantly popular among the masses. The performances of all the actors in the film were highly appreciated by everyone.
