Stress management is essential for dealing with day-to-day challenges. Leading a peaceful life can go a long way towards motivating us to do our daily tasks and helping with our physical and emotional health. Yoga has been considered to be an excellent stress reliever and instrumental in achieving tranquillity. Establishing a regular habit of doing yoga improves our general well-being. Malaika Arora, known for her dedication to staying fit swears by her yoga routine and agrees to the same. Recently, she stated that for her, yoga is much more than a fitness regime; it is about “serenity.”

In her latest Instagram post, Malaika Arora shared a reel and quoted a Swedish yoga instructor, Rachel Brathen, and wrote, “The yoga pose is not the goal. Becoming flexible is not the goal. Standing on your hands is not the goal. The goal is serenity. Balance. Truly finding peace in your own skin.” In the clip, the actress was seen doing some simple yoga postures and thereby performing a complete body workout. One of her fans wrote that this is, “one of the secrets of staying evergreen…Queen stunning.”

This is not the first time Malaika has talked about de-stressing through yoga. Earlier, she shared some crucial asana that will help you calm down in just 30 seconds. The caption read, “Hello everyone. Today all I ask of you is 30 seconds to practice this technique with me.30 seconds to care for your mental health. 30 seconds to not worry about anything. 30 seconds to relax your mind and body.” She demonstrated how to perform the palming pose which does not take much time and can be performed by everyone at anything.

Stating the benefits of this pose, Malaika Arora shared, “The palming pose… helps relieve stress and feel relaxed. The warmth created in your palms relaxes up to 6 muscles around the eyes, boosts blood flow in this area and reduces eye fatigue. Even if you are in the midst of a hectic morning, afternoon or evening, it only takes 30 seconds to care for yourself. You can practice this pose for up to 5 minutes.” Malaika’s love of yoga extends beyond her personal fitness, as she regularly posts her fitness routine on Instagram, providing a source of inspiration and guidance for many. Her aim is to encourage others to live a balanced lifestyle with an increased focus on self-care.
