Karan Johar Thanks Anant Ambani For Vantara Initiative, Says 'More Power, Love and Support To You'
Karan Johar shared that Vantara is not just about the rescue and treatment of animals but also aims to rehabilitate them in the best way possible.

Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle on Tuesday to thank Anant Ambani for his initiative, Vantara. In a long post, KJo talked about the initiative and shared how the love for animals is deeply rooted in the Ambani family. “Rooted in deep love for animals and the wildlife as a whole, the initiative of Vantara by Anant Ambani only strengthens my belief in his passion & compassion towards the cause. Nothing he does is ever half-hearted and here he is, promising the world a more heart-ful space!” he wrote.

Karan Johar further shared that Vantara is not just about the rescue and treatment of animals but also aims to rehabilitate them in the best way possible. “Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation’s newly launched Vantara programme focuses on the rescue, treatment, care and rehabilitation of injured, abused and threatened animals, both in India and abroad. More power, love & support to you and this initiative – thank you for providing this safe space for our wildlife!” the filmmaker added. Check out his post here:

Meanwhile, recently, Anant Ambani opened up about Vantara in an exclusive conversation with CNN News18 and he said, “My vision is that at Vantara in Jamnagar, we would like to be the world’s most advanced wildlife institute and we would also like to conserve and breed critically endangered species so we can release them back in the habitat. Because a lot of species, even today, as we speak, are going extinct.”

“So, in Hindi there’s a saying called Chidiyaghar. It’s not a Chidiya Sevalaya. So we have created it as a Sevalaya. And it’s an area where we only rehabilitate, rescue, preserve, conserve and breed the endangered species. It’s not a zoo. It’s not for any entertainment,” Anant added.

Anant Ambani also shared that his soon-to-be wife, Radhika Merchant is also actively involved in the initiative.
