Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie, Chandramukhi 2. On Wednesday, September 20, the actress took to her Instagram handle and dropped a new teaser of the film. In the video, Kangana was seen dressed in her Chandramukhi avatar. She sported a red saree with heavy traditional jewellery.
In the caption of her post, Kangana expressed excitement for the film and wrote, “Just 8 more days to go! We’re excited to present you this horror-comedy packed with drama, emotions and non-stop entertainment!” Check it out here:

Directed by P Vasu, Chandramukhi 2 is the sequel to the Tamil horror-comedy Chandramukhi, starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika. Reportedly, Chandramukhi 2 revolves around a woman who suffers from a dissociative identity disorder that affects her family. Amid all this, a psychiatrist tries to fix the issue but puts her life in danger.
After finishing Chandramukhi 2’s shoot in June this year, Kangana penned an emotional note on social media which read, “As I am about to complete my role in Chandramukhi today, I find it difficult to say goodbye to these beautiful people, such a lovely crew.” She also added a special thank you note to Raghava Lawrence, stating how she had a great time working with him.
Chandramukhi 2 is produced by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran. It will released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages on September 28, 2023.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut also has Tejas in her pipeline in which she will play the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. It will be released in October 2023. Besides this, Kangana has also been working on Emergency. She is not just playing the lead in this political drama but is also directing it. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles.
