On Friday, the Raatan Lambiyaan singer was spotted at the Mumbai airport with an arm sling support in his right arm as he is flying to his hometown Uttrakhand for further treatment. The singer has been advised to rest properly for recovery.

Jubin Nautiyal started his career with the musical reality show X-Factor. However, he later went on to establish himself as one of the leading singers of Bollywood with chartbusters like Tum Hi Aana, Nashe Mein, Meri Aashiqui and most recently Manike with the Sri Lankan Pop sensation Yohani for the movie Thank God.

While Jubin Nautiyal was a hot favourite in X-factor 2011, he couldn’t make it to the Top 8. However, the singing sensation never held that against the show. In one of his interviews with the entertainment portal Koimoi, Jubin had explained, “Kya pata mai woh reality show jeeth jata aur mai aaj jubin nahi ban pata(What if I had won that reality show and would have never become the Jubin Nautiyal that I am today?”

He had also expressed, “Kam umar mein samaj gaya tha ki yeh joh safar hai woh manzil se alag aur khubsurat hoti hai(I understood this at a very young age that my journey is different and more beautiful than the destination) – I’m just enjoying that. I’m not somebody who found music somewhere in between, I’m not somebody who had a passion and then it turned into a career. I was born for this. I was made for this. Even if I was not as big as I am today, I would still be doing music and that is why I am really content and happy.”

Earlier this year, Jubin Nautiyal was also in the news after he had announced his US concert following which several social media users claimed that the show is organised by an alleged Khalistani member Jai Singh. Reportedly, Singh was connected to a banned Khalistani outfit and was also a ‘wanted criminal’ by the Chandigarh police over drug smuggling and video piracy charges. However, the singer has denied all sorts of links with an alleged Khalistani member.
