In just eight days, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan outpaced Sunny Deol’s blockbuster Gadar 2 and has become one of the highest-grossing films ever. The film delivered an outstanding performance on Friday, September 15, and early trade estimates indicate that it has now crossed the 400-crore mark in India.
Following the huge success of Atlee’s Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set for a media meet at the YRF studios on Friday. At the press conference, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone also shook a leg to Jawan’s hit romantic song, Chaleya, as music composer Anirudh Ravichander, crooned the song. But the star performance for the night was reserved for the end of the event. Shah Rukh Khan along with the girl squad including Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra and Deepika Padukone, shook a leg to Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya. Sunil Grover, director Atlee and Anirudh, too, joined them.
Now, Shah Rukh Khan has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to drop the extended version of the song. Sharing the video, he wrote, “All work and no joy makes handsome a dull boy. Let Daddy show u how it’s done… disco jazz blues saare bhool jaa… desi beat pe bas jhool jaa…”
The extended version features SRK in younger and older looks and is already going viral on the internet.

Before drawing the curtains on the Friday event, Shah Rukh khan said, “Jawan is a feeling that every Indian has, an emotion, jawan is an Indian soldier, an Indian mother, an Indian girl and an Indian vigilante. And Jawan, on many times, is weak like all of us. And many times, he’s ready for a fight.” He also said, “I am working harder than I have worked in 29 years and I hope I can continue to do the right films. God has been kind with Pathaan and even kinder with Jawan.”
