Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was released earlier this month. The film marked Shahid’s return to the romantic comedy genre and performed well at the box office. The film’s success party was held on Wednesday night, February 29. It was a star-studded affair and newlyweds Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh twinned in black for the event.
The couple held each other close as they arrived for the party. Rakul Preet Singh looked beautiful in a black top worn under a cropped jacket. She paired it with matching black pants and a black bag. Rakul and Jackky were all smiles as they posed for the paps at the event. The duo recently tied the knot in Goa on February 21st. The couple first got married with an Anand Karaj ceremony, honouring Rakul’s Sikh roots. It was followed by the Pheras in the evening to commemorate Jackky’s Sindhi heritage. Several celebrities, including Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra, Varun Dhawan, his wife Natasha Dalal, Ananya Panday, and Aditya Roy Kapur attended the wedding.
As for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, the film is themed on an unconventional romantic relationship between a robot scientist and a humanoid robot. The film is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar have co-produced the film.
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was released during Valentine’s Week and earned an estimated Rs 6.5 crore nett in India on its opening day. Kriti Sanon recently teased that the film might also get a sequel, owing to the audience’s response.
