Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, recently married her longtime boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare. They officially completed the marriage registration process earlier last week, surrounded by their close friends and family. Their wedding video was released recently, and it was all heartwarming. Nupur also revealed the real reason why he decided to run to the wedding venue.

Nupur shared, “From my house to Ira’s house, I used to run. I have a very special connect to this route. Emotional reason.” The event planning team who released the video shared, “From finishing the Iron Man four times to being Ira’s man forever, Nupur chose to run to their wedding venue for a very emotional reason that is close to the couple’s heart. A little glimpse into the beautiful vibe of the day that @khan.ira and @nupur_popeye chose to officially become husband and wife.”

Ira and Nupur are currently in Udaipur for a three-day celebration at the Taj Lake Palace. The former recently shared the detailed schedule of the festivities on social media.

On January 7, Ira Khan gave a sneak peek into her upcoming wedding celebrations by sharing an image of her wedding invitation on Instagram. According to the itinerary, a special hi-tea was planned for the evening, followed by a welcome dinner later that night. The joyful occasion marks the beginning of what promises to be a memorable and love-filled celebration for the newly married couple and their loved ones in the picturesque city of Udaipur.

On January 8, Ira and Nupur will celebrate their mehendi ceremony as part of their ongoing wedding festivities. Following this, the invite extends an invitation for a pyjama party tonight. The sangeet ceremony will take place tomorrow, and the grand traditional vow exchange ceremony is set for the 10th of January.

In the story that Ira shared on her Instagram stories, she can be seen holding her wedding schedule card and seems to drop it. She picks it up again and unfolds it to give us a sneak peek into her wedding festivities as she goes on to show her groom, Nupur Shikhare’s expression, followed by their other friends.

The elaborate event is slated to take place at the Taj Aravali Resorts in Udaipur, where 176 hotel rooms have been reserved for the bride, groom, families, and guests. It is anticipated that around 250 individuals will partake in the festivities, concluding with the final celebrations on January 10.
