Unlike many star wives, Emraan Hashmi’s wife has stayed away from the limelight. As she celebrates her birthday today, she received the warmest birthday wish from her husband. Emraan shared a bundle of happy photos with her and penned an endearing birthday note that read, “You are and will always be my most happy place ❤️! It’s been such a joy irritating you for 17 years ( actually 20 years since we first started dating ). You look particularly pissed off in the last pic❤️. Happy anniversary baby !!”

Have a look at the photos:

Emraan and Parveen have been childhood sweethearts and dated for quite a few years before getting married. The lovebirds got married in 2006 and it was an intimate affair. They are blessed with a son Ayaan who is a cancer suvivor.

Meanwhile on the work front, Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Tiger 3 with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film earned rave reviews from fans and critics alike. He is now looking for a new chapter in his acting career, as he is soon going to make his Telugu debut with Pawan Kalyan starrer OG. A gangster drama, directed by Sahoo director Sujeeth, it will see the Murder actor playing a negative character.

Earlier in an exclusive conversation with News18, he shared, “It’s an ambitious film and is mounted on a big scale. It’s a pan-India film and this is the audience who may have known me as an actor but have not necessarily seen my films. I also wanted to explore a larger audience and work in this unfamiliar territory and penetrate down South, something that I hadn’t done before.”

Talking about the success and the love that he is receiving for his role in Tiger-3, which is undoubtedly the biggest hit of Hashmi’s career, the actor says that he is just grateful that the hard work and patience has paid off, “When so many people go and watch your film, it is good validation. Even for the team, it is great validation that we put so much work into this film; it is such an ambitious project. It was an interesting journey, I had never imagined that I would probably play an antagonist in (this) franchise because I have watched both the Tiger films and had loved it. I am just trying to process all the love that has been coming my way.”
