Allu Arjun To Get Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds In Dubai: 'I Never Imagined'
Though there's time for the statue to be revealed to the public, the actor recently visited Madame Tussauds in Dubai.

It is a “surreal” experience for actor Allu Arjun to get a wax statue of himself at the prestigious Madame Tussauds in Dubai. Though there’s time for the statue to be revealed to the public, the Pushpa fame recently visited the Museum and expressed his feelings about the addition of his wax figure. On Thursday, the museum also gave fans a sneak peek of his visit in a short clip via X. Looking dapper in a two-piece crisp suit, Allu Arjun layered his formal look with a black t-shirt underneath, statement formal boots, and matching sunglasses. The shared footage begins with the Telugu heartthrob stepping out of his swanky ride and greeting the Museum officials.

Posing for the camera, the clip moves on to show multiple of his close-up takes without revealing any hint about the statue to keep the curiosity building among his fandom. At one point, Allu Arjun also picks an eye sample to click a funny photograph while a member of the museum staff appears to be measuring his face. “In a way, it’s a very surreal experience because as a kid when I went to Madame Tussauds, I never imagined that I would see myself as a wax figure at Madame Tussauds,” he said in the video.

The X page of Madame Tussauds Dubai heaped praises on the actor’s latest achievement while sharing the video online. “National Award winner; the first Telugu Actor in 69 years to win this award and icon of dance moves, the one and only Allu Arjun is all set to come face to face with his wax twin at Madame Tussauds Dubai later this year,” they wrote.

Take a look at it here:

On the work front, Allu Arjun is gearing up to reprise his titular role of gangster Pushpa in the second installment of the action-drama film series. Directed by Sukumar, the movie features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead while Fahadh Faasil plays the main antagonist. The production of the movie has already gone on the floor and the bejewelled character poster of Pushpa in a saree has raised anticipation surrounding the film to a whole new level. With murderous rage in his eyes, a painted Allu Arjun wields a gun in his hands in the previously teased poster.

Pushpa: The Rule is scheduled to hit theatres in August 2024.
