As the news of Siddique’s death was made public last night, Salman Khan halted the shoot of Bigg Boss 18 midway and rushed to the hospital to meet the grieving family. Khan and Siddique were close friends and he was always spotted at his Iftar parties. Reports mention that the actor has been in touch with the family and is taking care of all the funeral arrangements. Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for Siddique’s death in a Facebook post earlier today. Following this development, security has been increased outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments. Reportedly, the actor has also cancelled all of his meetings. He has requested privacy and has asked many of his friends from the industry to not meet him in the coming days.

Maharashtra Chief Minister has announced that Siddique will receive state honours during his cremation. The Mumbai Police has also filed a case under applicable sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Arms Act, and the Maharashtra Police Act.
