The first four episodes of Season 2 broadcast in November 2023, leaving the series on a cliffhanger.

Much to the delight of fans of the series Invincible, the makers are back with the next part for the season. They teased its return with Part 2 of the second season, with the official trailer available on Amazon Prime Video. The first four episodes of Season 2 broadcast in November 2023, leaving the series on a cliffhanger. The season 2 part 2 trailer teases a lot of action in the next episodes, including comic moments and a deadly invasion. The second half of the eight-episode season premieres on March 14, with fresh episodes airing weekly.

The series is based on the pioneering comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. The plot follows 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who is just like any other person of his age, except his father, the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still suffering from Nolan’s betrayal in the previous season, Mark fights to rebuild his life as he faces a slew of new challenges, all while fighting his deepest fear that he may become like his father without even realising it. The latest teaser follows Mark Grayson after the events of the fourth episode of Invincible Season 2. In addition, it foreshadows a new danger to Earth.

In this much anticipated superhero series, Steven Yeun stars alongside Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth Rogen, and J.K. Simmons. The executive producers are Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, Rogen, and Evan Goldberg, with Helen Leigh and Walker serving as co-executive producers.

The audience is quite excited about the announcement. One of them expressed, “Invincible is BACK!! Can’t wait for S2 P2..” while another stated, “Trailer is Increasing the hype inside me.”

Some time back, stating the reason for splitting the season in two halves, producer Robert Kirkman told The Collider, “It’s a little bit of the production process just because ramping things up has taken a lot longer than we thought.” Hence viewers had to wait until this year for Season 2 to be completed.

Reportedly, Invincible Season 1 was nominated for an Annie Award, an Online Film and Television Association Award, and a Hollywood Critics Association Award, with Steven Yeun and JK Simmons each receiving an OFTA Television Award for best voice-over performance, among other accolades.
