Urmila Matondkar Shares Throwback Pic from Wedding to Wish Husband on Anniversary

Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar, who is celebrating her wedding anniversary today on March 3 with husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir, has marked the occasion with an image from her marriage ceremony on social media.

In the image shared by Urmila on Twitter, the actress is seen beautifully decked up as a bride. She captioned the image, “My precious ‘mangalsutra’ moment. And a beautiful five year journey that continues to enrich both our lives. Happy Anniversary dearest Mohsin.”

In the image, Urmila looks radiant in a red lehenga while Mohsin can be seen with a bright smile. The actress looks into the camera as her husband putthe mangalsutra.

Urmila tied the knot with Mohsin in a traditional Hindu ceremony at her Bandra residence on March 3, 2016. This year, the couple is celebrating their 5th marriage anniversary.

The actress also shared an image on Instagram to wish her husband on their anniversary. Mentioning their togetherness from “here to eternity”, she wrote how her husband makes her life more beautiful and meaningful. She also added, “Don’t miss the moon,” calling Mohsin “her made Romeo.”

She also shared an image from their wedding, wearing the varmalas, in her Instagram stories.

The actress, who has also been a part of politics for sometime now, in an interaction recentlyrevealed that her new career is keeping her busy and even though she is a complete novice, she is enjoing her stint tremendously. Urmila also revealed that she has as much passion for it as she had for films and her acting career.

Mohsin is part of a well-to-do Kashmiri business family. According to reports, he met Urmila during Manish Malhotra’s niece’s wedding in 2014 and the two hit it off immediately. In fact, Mohsin is 10 years younger to Urmila.
