Director Nag Ashwin’s upcoming sci-fi spectacle Kalki 2898 AD has dominated the headlines for quite a long time since its inception. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in key roles, it is one of the much-anticipated films. Amidst all this excitement, a new update reveals that the makers are planning a big announcement for the hardcore fans of Prabhas. As per the reports, a fan meet will also be organised for the Prabhas followers. Reportedly, Kalki 2898 AD’s team will arrange this fan meet of Prabhas as a part of Kalki promotions.
As per reports, Prabhas is going to participate in these promotional activities from next week. Reportedly, the makers will select only the die-hard fans of Prabhas for this meet. The film unit is likely to reveal the full details regarding the fan meet soon. As per reports, the makers are planning to give interviews to the national media as well as a part of the promotions.
Earlier this year, at the Synapse 2024 event in Gurgaon, Nag Ashwin disclosed that the movie’s timeline will start with Mahabharat. He stated, “The film starts with Mahabharat and ends in 2898 AD. It spans 6000 years in time. We tried to create worlds, imagining what they would be like while still keeping it Indian, and not making it look like Blade Runner. The film begins 6000 years behind 2898 AD is 3102 BC, which is when the last avatar of Krishna is believed to have passed.”
Billed as the biggest Indian film of the year, Kalki 2898 AD is a multilingual film produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. Hailed as the magnum opus, this film made waves after its groundbreaking debut at San Diego Comic-Con last year. At this event, it earned massive global acclaim.
