Amitabh Bachchan shared an interesting anecdote about his childhood days.

Amitabh Bachchan shared an interesting anecdote from his childhood in a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Big B revealed he is ambidextrous, which means he can write with his right and left hand. However, he acquired the skill after he was corrected by his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan. He revealed that until the age of four or five, he used to write with his left hand. However, Harivansh Rai Bachchan told him it is wrong and asked him to write using his right hand.

The revelation came up when a contestant informed him that he can writes with both hands. “I noticed you write with your left hand. You and I will get along really well. I can also write with my left hand and I can write with both hands,” Amitabh Bachchan shared before revealing his childhood story.

“Until the age of four or five, I used to write with my left hand. My father then said, ‘Yeh Galat Kaam Hai, write with your right hand,” he said.

Amitabh Bachchan’s father Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a renowned poet. He was born on November 27, 1907. He passed away on January 18, 2003, at the age 95. He penned several renowned writings, including Agneepath, Madhushala and Jo Beet Gayi So Baat Gayi. He also contributed to Bollywood via poems in films. Amitabh often visits his poems on social media, his blog and on episodes of KBC.

Speaking of KBC, Amitabh will be hosting singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal this weekend on the show. The new promo showed them answering questions and singing songs. Amitabh will also be seen singing one of his hit songs, Pardesiya, from his film Mr Natarwarlal on stage and invited him to join them. The episode will release on Friday.
