Yogi Babu is one of the distinguished comedians in the Tamil film industry with a huge share of hit films like Mersal and Pariyerum Perumal. Due to such an illustrious acting career, fans are quite eager to know about his salary per day. As per reports, Yogi Babu earns Rs 12 lakh per day. There is no official confirmation regarding this information. Reports regarding Yogi Babu’s salary had surfaced in the past as well, which say that he earns Rs 10 lakh per day.
The Tamil comedian, however, has denied these claims in an earlier interview with a media portal. He said, “Contrary to the reports, I don’t demand Rs 10-15 lakh per day from anyone. I started doing films with a remuneration of Rs 2,000-Rs 3,000. I know the issues faced by debutant directors and producers. Even on the other day, when a producer told me about his financial issues, I agreed to take half the amount of what I was initially offered.”
On the work front, the 38-year-old actor has many well-known upcoming films in his pipeline. These include Haraa, The Greatest of All Time, Non Violence and Kanguva. He has already worked with almost all the top heroes in Tamil cinema. They range from Thalapathy Vijay to Suriya to Sivakarthikeyan, Vijay Sethupathy, GV Prakash and Ajith Kumar.
Despite having worked in so many films and opposite stars, Yogi Babu has been trolled and body-shamed for his appearance. Some of the viewers found it quite hurtful, but the actor doesn’t mind it. He spoke about it in an interview and said that he finds it normal and sometimes even asks for it himself. Yogi Babu further said that body language is an important aspect of comedy and he is happy to use it that way. He said that other comedians like Vadivelu sir have also been mocked on the screen.
