Shruti and Shantanu’s breakup was reported last month. When asked to comment on the matter, Shantanu told Bombay Times, “I am sorry, I don’t wish to comment on it.” Meanwhile, a source told the publication that the breakup was amicable. “Since there were personal wavelength issues, they decided to part ways amicably,” the insider claimed.
Shruti and Santanu were often photographed together and never shied away from expressing love towards one another in public. Santanu is a famous doodle and multidisciplinary visual artist. He has worked with many famous celebrities including Raftaar, Divine, and Ritviz.
A few months ago, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Santanu talked about their relationship and being in public all the time. He argued that it can be “demanding” and also talked about the trolling he faced for being Shruti’s beau.
Earlier this year, social media sensation Orry aka Orhan Awatramani sparked their wedding rumours after he referred to Santanu as Shruti’s husband. However, Shruti later clarified that they are not married. “So, I’m not married. For someone who has been open about every single thing, why would I hide this? LOL. So people who don’t know me at all, please calm down,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shruti Haasan was last seen in Salaar. The film also starred Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead and was widely loved by all. Salaar earned over Rs 700 crore at the box office worldwide.
