Earlier this week, Salman Khan attended a special screening of Patna Shuklla in Mumbai to show support for his brother, Arbaaz Khan. The film revolves around Tanvi Shukla, portrayed by Raveena Tandon, an ordinary woman who takes action after uncovering a student’s involvement in a marksheet scam. During a media interaction at the screening, Salman Khan praised Raveena and reminisced about their previous collaborations. He also extended his best wishes to the actress and her daughter, Rasha Thadani.
At the screening, Salman Khan stated, “Maine Raveena ke saath Pathhar Ke Phool, Andaz Apna Apna, maine 3-4 picture ki hain Raveena ji ke saath aur hum Raveena ko bachpan se jaante hain. First film unki hamare sath hi thi aur ab arbaaz unke saath firse itne arse baad kam kar rahe hain vo actor to bahut achi hain hi dost bhi hain aur wish her all the best and all the luck aur unki beti ko bhi (I’ve worked on three or four films with Raveena, including Pathhar Ke Phool and Andaz Apna Apna. Her first film was with me, and Arbaaz is now collaborating with her after all these years. She is not just a talented actor but also a nice friend. Best wishes and luck to her and her daughter.”
Reportedly, Rasha Thadani is expected to make her Bollywood debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film. The film also stars Ajay Devgn and would mark the acting debut of his nephew, Aaman Devgan.
Patna Shuklla is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar and is directed by Vivek Budakoti and Rajendra Tiwari. The film stars Raveena Tandon as Tanvi Shukla, a lawyer at the Patna District Court who finds herself relegated to filing affidavits. While Raveena leads the film, the story revolves around Rinki Kumari, portrayed by Anushka Kaushik, the daughter of an underprivileged rickshaw puller. Upon receiving her bachelor’s exam results, Rinki is shocked to find herself on the failed list, despite being confident of scoring more than 60%.
Raveena Tandon was earlier seen in Karmma Calling. It also starred Varun Sood and Namrata Sheth. She will soon be seen in the third installment of the Welcome franchise which also stars Akshay Kumar.
