Here come the brides! Comedian and actress Rebel Wilson got married to her longtime fiance Ramona Agruma in a dreamy destination wedding on the Italian island of Sardinia on September 28. Following their intimate wedding ceremony, the couple finally shared pictures of their Italian wedding, looking head over heels in love as they held onto each other with matching flower bouquets in their hands.
Announcing the marriage, the two brides shared a collab post. “Married. Sardinia 28.9.24,” the caption read.
According to the New York Post, both the brides wore Pronovia gowns, radiating grace and beauty. While Wilson went for a simple design, leaving her tresses open, Ramona Agruma had beaded details on her gown. She wore her hair in an elegant updo. Before the Instagram post, pictures from their wedding surfaced on the internet, leaving fans elated.
Their relationship dates back to June 2022, when the Pitch Perfect star announced her relationship with a woman. In the post uploaded during LGBTQ Pride Month, she wrote, “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.” A few months later, Wilson also announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl born via surrogacy.
Back in 2023, the actress got engaged to Agruma, as announced by the couple on Instagram. In pictures, they were seen in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland, dressed in matching sweaters. “We said YES! Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!” the caption read.
Ramona Agruma is reportedly an entrepreneur, running her own clothing brand in Los Angeles.
Speaking to People in 2022, Rebel Wilson revealed that she met Agruma “through a friend” and spoke to her on the phone for “weeks” before meeting. “That was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense—very romantic. It’s great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and is in a healthy relationship. There were times—I’m not saying with all my exes, they’re great—but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn’t have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship,” she said.
