Fans speculate that Ram Charan and Sukumar's upcoming collaboration is for Rangasthalam sequel.

After it was reported that Ram Charan will be reuniting with Sukumar for RC17, fans have begun speculating that the film might be a sequel to their previous hit, Rangasthalam. Released to widespread acclaim in 2018, Rangasthalam emerged as a cinematic masterpiece with its captivating narrative and powerful performances.

Ram Charan’s portrayal of Chitti Babu, a hearing-impaired man with a heart of gold, garnered immense praise, further solidifying his reputation as a versatile actor. The film also featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu and Pooja Hegde in key roles.

With Ram Charan and Sukumar’s track record of delivering hit films, fans are excited about the possibility of witnessing the continuation of the Rangasthalam saga in RC17.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan is gearing up for the release of Game Changer alongside Kiara Advani. Fans were recently treated to the first song from the film, Jaragandi, and it has only amplified everyone’s excitement. While the song became an instant hit, producer Dil Raju hinted that Game Changer will release this year and could be in less than six months.

The producer said that the film will be in cinemas in five months, seemingly hinting at a September release date. He added that the filming will wrap in May. Besides teasing the release date, Raju also revealed that Jaragandi is just one of the many songs that the team has in store for the film. He said that the film will have five songs, three of which will be chart toppers.

The film also stars other artists like Anjali, SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani and Nassar. Ram Charan will essay the role of an IAS Officer, Ram Madan, while Kiara Advani will be his love interest and another fellow IAS officer. The movie is directed by Shankar and marks his debut directorial. The screenplay is written by Karthik Subbaraj. The music department is being handled by Thaman.

The OTT deal of Game Changer has reportedly been finalised. Amazon Prime Video has bought the streaming rights of the film for all languages. Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film was expected to be released this year but now has been postponed given the tight schedule of the director Shankar.
