In the list of Vaazhai fans, the latest addition is superstar Rajinikanth. He recently shared a post, appreciating Mari Selvaraj.
In the latest post, the superstar said that he saw Vaazai. He called it a wonderful and quality film in Tamil after a long time. Rajinikanth appreciated the director for creating relatable content which made him nostalgic about his young days.
Rajinikanth mentioned the climax scene of the film and wrote that the boy’s emotions resonated with him and other viewers.
“It feels like we are experiencing the sufferings and hardships experienced by that boy. At the climax, when the boy wanders about starving when the mother screams that my boy is not allowed to eat a handful of rice, our heart is pounding,” wrote Rajinikanth in the post. He wishes Mari Selvaraj a successful life.

Recently, director Shankar watched Vaazhai and is all praises for the director. He said that Vaazhai is a film that left a deep impact on him. “The pain of the Tharai children carrying the ‘Vaazhai’ is something you can feel. From now on, whenever I see bananas, I will remember all the actors from the film,” said S Shankar in the viral video.
Vaazhai revolves around the character of Sivanaindhan, who works in Banana fields. It is followed by a tale of friendships, poverty, and sacrifices.
