Priyanka Chopra is a global icon and enjoys a huge fan following. She is a well-known name in Bollywood as well as Hollywood. Priyanka has always impressed fans with her strong performance. Her films include Mary Kom, Aitraaz, and many more. In an old interview, she revealed how she was offered Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish.
The Indian Express quoted her speaking with Anupam Kher on his talk show. Priyanka recalled director Rakesh Roshan spotted her at a funeral. She said, “Rakesh sir saw me at a funeral, and he called me. He said, ‘I saw you at a funeral, you’re very pretty’. I said, ‘Excuse me?’ I was wearing a white salwar kurta, no makeup. Anyway, Rakesh Roshan was calling me, and this was right after Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. He wanted to see my rushes from Aitraaz.”
Amid this news of Krrish 4 has also been going on for a long time. Reportedly Hrithik Roshan has finalised the script for the fourth installment of his successful superhero series. Production is set to kick off in the first half of the coming year. According to a source cited by Hindustan Times, the script has been penned by Rakesh Roshan, after which Hrithik went through it.
“He wants to be super sure about the story for the instalment, as they are revving the story after a long time and don’t want to get it wrong. That’s why he went through the script and introduced some changes. The script is now locked,” said the source, adding, “In fact, he is ready to start shooting for the project in February or March next year”.
Coming back to Priyanka Chopra, she has been missing from Bollywood for a long time. She will be next seen in Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. Farhan Akhtar announced the film which is supposed to be on girls trip. Well, the shooting is yet to be started and fans are also eagerly waiting for this film.
Priyanka has wrapped up shooting for the swashbuckler film “The Bluff” directed by Frank E. Flowers. Shot in Australia, “The Bluff” also stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo. It is set in the Caribbean Islands during the 19th century. Priyanka plays a former-pirate who protects her family when her past catches up with her.
The actress had recently shared that she has started prepping for the second season of the spy action thriller “Citadel”, which also stars Richard Madden.
The Indian adaptation of the series starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is titled “Citadel: Honey Bunny” and will premiere on November 7.
