Malayalam actor Manju Warrier is set to kick off the promotions for her upcoming film Footage. Ahead of the promotional tour, the actress has been spending a lot of time with the cast and crew. Not long ago, she treated her fans to some pictures from the sets of the film. Now, she has reunited with the team and it was all fun and laughter.

Warrier, on Sunday, dropped a fun-filled video on her Instagram handle. It starts with her arriving for an interaction with the team of the film Footage for promotional preparation. As the clip proceeds, the star indulges in some joyous members with her team. Dressed in a comfy white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans, the actress layered her outfit with a blue sweatshirt. She sported a natural look for the reunion, effortlessly exuding simplicity.

The video also featured the film’s director Saiju Sreedharan and the other lead cast including Gayathri Ashok and Vishak Nair. They were joined by other members who played a pivotal part in the film’s making. While sharing the clip, she wrote, “It was all fun and laughter while catching up with Team FOOTAGE @footage_malayalam_movie and getting our promotion preps started! What a challenging and an unforgettable shoot it was!!! The first of its kind in Malayalam I’m sure! Coming soon to theatres near you!!!”

It was last month when Warrier dropped a bunch of pictures with the team of Footage on her Instagram handle. The pictures showcased her interacting with the cast and crew of the upcoming Malayalam experimental film. Accompanying the candid pictures was a short note that read, “Behind every door is a world beyond your imagination…Footage. Coming soon…#footagemalayalammovie.”

Footage is poised to mark a significant milestone for Malayalam cinema as it marks the industry’s first found-footage film. It employs videos recorded by the characters as ‘found’ material to drive the film’s narrative. Additionally, it serves as the directorial debut of esteemed film editor Saiju Sreedharan who is popular for his work in acclaimed movies like Kumbalangi Nights, Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25, and Anjaam Pathiraa, among others.
