Sreenivasan made his debut in the '70s and soon evolved into a cinematic all-rounder. Apart from his acting, Sreenivasan is an accomplished writer and filmmaker of Malayalam cinema, having been involved in films like Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu, Vellanakalude Nadu, Vadakkunokkiyanthram and Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala in roles in front of, as well as behind, the cameras.
