Karan Johar Pens A Note On Winning National Film Award For Brahmastra: 'Magnanimity Is Not Lost On Me...'
Karan Johar penned a gratitude note as he won the National Film Award for Brahmastra. He shared a picture with Ayan Mukerji and also gave him a shoutout.

Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji recently attended the 70th National Film Award that was held in Delhi on Tuesday. They won big at the prestigious event for their film, Brahmastra. After the win, Johar took to his social media to share a picture with Mukerji and penned a note where he thanked the audience for the love and support.

Taking to his Instagram, Karan Johar shared a post where he penned his thoughts after winning the National Film Award. He also mentioned that today also marks 44 years of Dharma Movies. The first picture showed him posing with Ayan Mukerji with their medals around their necks. The second picture showed Johar posing solo with his award. Along with the pictures, he also posted a video of him and Mukerji receiving the award from President Droupadi Murmu.

Sharing these pictures, Johar wrote, “Every time I step onto this stage, it’s always a different feeling of magic. But there’s one feeling that always remains – gratitude. Thank you @mib_india for the constant support & strength for our film fraternity to tell stories and bring it to the people of our nation. And thank you to the audience, for the bountiful love that you shower. This is the third time for me on stage, and the magnanimity of it all is not lost on me. And what a day to celebrate – since today also marks 44 years of @dharmamovies!”

In his post, Johar also gave a shoutout to Mukerji. He added, “@ayan_mukerji, here’s to #Brahmastra being etched in history.” He also tagged the team behind Brahmastra including the cast, singers, and the studio.

Brahmastra won awards under the Best Male Playback Singer, (Arijit Singh for Kesariya), Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects Gaming and Comic), and Best Music Director(Songs, Pritam).
