Kannada Romantic Drama Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali To Release On September 5

The makers of Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali have announced the film’s release date. Produced by Rakshit Shetty under his banner Paramvah Studios, the Kannada film will hit the theatres on September 5.

The romantic drama is directed by debutant Chandrajith Belliappa. Chandrajith has previously co-written Rakshit’s Kirik Party (2016) and Avane Srimannarayana (2019).

As seen in the trailer, Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali revolves around Siddharth, an aspiring cricketer portrayed by Vihan, and his relationships with two women (played by Ankita Amar and Mayuri Nataraja). Srivathsan Selvarajan is the cinematographer and Gagan Baderiya is the music composer. Rakshit Kaup has done the editing.

The film is the second project to be released by Paramvah Studios after Bachelor Party. The comedy-drama starring Diganth and Yogi in the lead roles and directed by Abhijith Mahesh was released on January 26.

The film, backed by Rakshit Shetty’s Paramvah Studios, has received praise from its producer. Rakshit Shetty praised the team, especially director Chandrajith Belliappa and the lead cast. “I have known Chandrajith for nine years since he joined our writing team, called The Seven Odds.”

Rakshit shared. “He wrote a blog titled Passionophoria, which also included the story originally titled Dew Drops, Sunshine, and the Blade of Grass. I knew immediately that he was an exceptional writer and that’s how our journey together began.”

Rakshit also mentioned that he trusted Chandrajith’s vision and gave him creative freedom despite visiting the set only three times during the shoot. He revealed that he has invested over Rs 6 crore in the project.

The cast thanked Rakshit Shetty and Chandrajith Belliappa for allowing them to be a part of this story. Rakshit praised the performances and said, “I am confident that Ankita’s performance will be the talk of the town. Both Vihan and Ankita will win awards and accolades.

Vihan’s subtle acting, with the captivating twinkle in his eyes, is sure to grab everyone’s attention.” He also praised the role of Mayuri, “Though she is seen in only seven or eight scenes, her presence is unforgettable. All three actors have given truly remarkable performances.”
