July 17 is celebrated as World Emoji Day, and in this digital age, emojis have become an inherent part of our communication process. These help people express a variety of emotions when you don’t find the right words. On this occasion, Kajol shared her own unique take on the celebration. The actress shared a series of funny pictures on her Instagram handle to mark the day. She jokingly pointed out how she would not need the help of emojis since she has a very expressive face.
Kajol shared a series of close-up stills from her films as well as industry events. These pictures resembled some of the emojis on the keypad. While in one she makes a suspicious face, in another she is seen smiling weirdly. In the caption, the actress stated, “Why use emojis when you have a face that can do THIS?”
Jeremy Burge, the inventor of Emojipedia, started celebrating World Emoji Day. Kajol’s fans were quite prompt to share their reactions to her one-of-a-kind take on this special day. One of them stated, “You are natural and spontaneous in acting and various emotions. Best Actress in all roles.” while another commented, “ She’s so real for this.”
A fan expressed, “Am gonna use your pics instead of emojis from now on.” Another individual jokingly stated, “Okay I am screenshotting this and making it a sticker thanks.” A user also sarcastically noted, “Smileys copied your expression.”
Some time ago, Kajol was spotted spending some candid time with mother Tanuja. Kajol was seen clutching Tanuja’s hand as they walked out of a store in Mumbai. For her casual day out, the actress wore a colour-blocked black and white shirt with black trousers. The veteran actress, on the other hand, oozed timeless elegance in a patterned longline top paired with black jogging trousers.
On the professional front, Kajol will appear in the action film Maharani – Queen Of Queens. The film also stars Samyuktha, Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, Jishu Sen Gupta, Aditya Seal, Chaya Kadam and Pramod Pathak in key parts. Charantej Uppalapati wrote and directed the film whose teaser was published last month and received varied reactions from the audience. Kajol has a number of other projects lined up. The actress will appear in Sarzameen, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and debutant Ibrahim Ali Khan.
