This photo was initially shared by his brother, Jagdish on Kathir’s birthday. He had called the Kirumi star his “biggest strength” not just to him but to the entire family.

Apart from this, he shared the screen with Nayanthara and Thalapathy Vijay in a sports comedy by Atlee titled Bigil. For his exceptional acting chops in Pariyerum Perumal which was released in 2018, he won the Best Actor and Special Jury for Outstanding Performance awards.

In 2022, he marked his debut on the OTT platform with the thriller series Suzhal: The Vortex on Prime Video. It is created by Pushkar-Gayathri. He was last seen in the Tamil neo-noir drama movie titled Thalaikoothal and is directed by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan. It features Samuthirakani, Kathir, Vasundhara Kashyap, Baby Vishrutha and Katha Nandi in the lead roles. It was released on February 3, 2023.
