Actor Dileep, one of Malayalam film’s leading names is busy with the shoot of his 150th project, dubbed as D-150. The makers of the release celebrated a new milestone recently, celebrating 65 days of shoot completion.
On the occasion, the crew and cast members of the film celebrated the achievement by cutting a cake at the location of the shoot. The image shows Dileep sharing the cake with actress Manju Pillai, who is playing an important role in the film. The rest of the crew members gather around to join in the celebrations.
As per the information given, the film is scheduled to shoot for 85 days, of which 65 days are now done. It is being made under the direction of Binto Stephen, while Listin Stephen is the producer, through his banner Magic Frames. It is the production’s 30th project and Dileep’s first collaboration with Listin. The cast of the film also features Siddique, Bindu Panicker, Manju Pillai, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Johny Antony and Jose Kutty. A lot of expectations are being attached to the project due to such illustrious names associated with it.
The story of the release is penned by Sharis Mohammad, also the writer of Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Jana Gana Mana, a 2022 superhit. For music, the makers have finalised Sanal Dev while the cinematographer is Renadive and the editing is being done by Sagar Dass.
A puja ceremony for the film’s commencement was held earlier in April this year, which was attended by some of the biggest names in South Indian cinema. It included names like B Unnikrishnan, Sibi Malayil, Jibu Jacob, M Renjith and Siyad Kokker.
Actor Dileep was last seen in the film Pavi Caretaker, released on April 26. The movie featured Dileep in the titular role, alongside Vineeth Kumar, Johny Antony, and Radhika Sarathkumar, among others. Directed by Vineeth Kumar, Pavi Caretaker was produced by Dileep under the banner of Grand Production, with music composed by Midhun Mukundan.
