Earlier, the makers shared that Sant Dnyaneshwaranchi Muktai will revolve around Sant Muktabai and released the motion poster. “New horizons… New boundaries… With the blessings of Kaivalya Samrajya Chakravarti Shri Saint Dnyaneshwar Mauli… Saint Dnyaneshwar’s small sister Muktai flying through the sky… The story of Dnyaneshwar’s divine family is seen with her divine vision! AA Films Presents #Muktai # June 2024; A Film By Digpal Lanjekar.”

As per reports, the upcoming movie depicts a significant chapter in Maharashtra’s saint tradition. It will highlight the divine family of Saint Dnyaneshwar. In Maharashtra, Sant Muktabai is recognised as the leading figure among immortalised women saints, attributed to her notable achievements.

Sant Muktabai, widely known as the younger sister of Sant Dnyaneshwar, lived a brief life, similar to her brother. Despite their limited lifespans, their work had a significant influence. Muktabai’s brief life demonstrated tremendous enlightenment. Sant Muktabai, known as the incarnation of Adimaya, played a major role in paving the way for women in the spiritual domain during her era.

Her contribution paved the way for the Bhagavata Dharma movement, led by Saint Dnyaneshwar. Despite a limited life of fourteen to eighteen years, Sant Muktabai wrote several Abhangs that served as a model for women’s achievements. Director Digpal Lanjekar hopes that the film on Sant Muktabai will inspire the present generation by highlighting her unique efforts and lasting impact.
