Deepika Padukone, who has been lately posting freshly brewed content on her social media handle, added yet another killer video to her Instagram profile. She hopped on to the new viraltrend, Buss It Challenge, which has taken over social media. Giving it a fun twist, Deepika roped in her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, for a twerk-off. In the video, she shared on Wednesday, Deepika and Ranveer can be seen dancing all heart in a goofy albeit super cute video.
As the video opens, Deepika drops her classic poise, as she lets loose in the freestyle dancing session and Ranveer later joins her in the frame. The duo begin twerking as they perform the hook step and start challenging each other. DeepVeer’s outfits deserve special honourable mention. Deepika and Ranveer twin similar floral patterned separates and matching bucket hats from the House of Masaba.
Deepika opted for a peach coloured co-ord set,while Ranveer kept his quiry quotient alive in a white T-Shirt and red co-ord set with a matching hat rounding it.
The Buss It challenge, which is named after rapper Erica Banks' track, typically starts with people dancing in casual outfits. As the beat drops, the clip then transitions to them all dressed up, grooving away with a twerk-off.
Meanwhile, Ranveer and Deepika are set to share screen space in Kabir Khan's forthcoming sports biopic titled ‘83 releasing in June this year. The film revolves around India’s maiden World Cup victory in 1983 under the captaincy of former cricketer, Kapil Dev. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Salem and Amy Virk, among others. Next, Ranveer has Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus in his kitty. He will reprise his character from Simmba to play an extended cameo in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi.
Deepika, on the other hand, has multiple projects in the pipeline. She will reunite with Shah Rukh Khan for Pathan. She is paired opposite Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter.For the first time, Deepika has a pan-India project directed by Nag Ashwin with Prabhas.
