Chirag Paswan has said he ‘likes’ actress-turned-politician and his Mile Na Mile Hum co-star Kangana Ranaut for not being “politically correct” all the time. In a recent interview, the former Bollywood actor and current Union Minister talked about Kangana’s ‘USP’ and shared that he admires her because she is not politically correct about her thoughts.
“One thing I know for sure is that most of the times she isn’t politically correct but that’s her USP again. She talks her,” he told news agency ANI and then added, “She knows kya bolna hai kab bolna hai. Ab woh politically correct ho, nahi ho woh debatable ho sakta hai (She knows what to speak and when to speak. But whether it is politically correct or not could be debatable).”
When Chirag was interrupted saying Kangana says what she thinks, the minister agreed to it and added, “We all like her for this”.
Chirag Paswan and Kangana Ranaut starred in the 2014 film Mile Na Mile Hum. In the movie, Chirag plays the role of a tennis player who falls in love with Kangana’s character. It was Chirag’s debut film which also featured Neeru Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge in key roles.
In June, the politician had said he was eager to meet Kangana again. “I am looking forward to meet her. We shared a good relationship, worked in a film. We will be meeting in Parliament. I think she is a strong lady; she voices herself very articulately and I am looking forward listening to her in Parliament,” he told PTI.

Later, Chirag and Kangana bumped into each other at the NDA’s Parliamentary meeting in New Delhi. Decked in a charming mint blue saree for her big day, Kangana couldn’t contain her excitement as she greeted Chirag. Their handshake turned into a chat, with Kangana holding onto his hand as they shared some laughs. The video of their meeting also went viral on social media.
