The music world is reeling from the devastating news of Liam Payne’s death at the age of 31. The former One Direction member tragically fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16, leaving behind his beloved son, Bear Grey, who is just 7 years old.
Charlie Puth was among the first to share his condolences on Instagram. “I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I cannot believe he is gone…,” he wrote in his Instagram Story. Puth, 32, also shared a video of the two sharing a laugh, adding the heartfelt caption, “I’m so upset right now, may he rest in peace.” In another story, he included a screenshot of a moment where Payne spoke about how Puth had collaborated with him, further expressing his sorrow with “I am so sorry.” He later posted a photo of them together, captioning it only with their smiles.
