'Bollywood No Longer A Dream': Uorfi Javed Wishes To Become Biggest Indian Reality Star

Uorfi Javed is creating a buzz in the entertainment industry with her unfiltered desire to achieve fame in the show Follow Kar Lo Yaar on Amazon Prime Video. The actress debuted with the Hindi serial Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania in 2016. She has played prominent roles in daily soaps such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Daayan and others. She is known for her unique fashion sense and social media presence. Despite working in a series of Daily Soaps, the actress gained fame after her appearance in the Voot’s reality show Bigg Boss OTT. As per her recent series, Follow Kar Lo Yaar, the actress’s aspirations do not match the traditional paths of success in television and Bollywood. In an interview with PTI, the actress admitted that Bollywood is no longer a dream for her. She desires to become India’s biggest reality TV star and an entrepreneur.

“Bollywood is no longer a dream. I want to become India’s biggest reality TV star and become an entrepreneur. Today, we have so many different career options to explore, which we did not know about and which we did not even think were possible.” said Uorfi Javed in an interview with PTI. The actress was recently seen as a guest contestant in MTV Splitsvilla 15.

Uorfi Javed has attained popularity primarily due to her unique and bold fashion sense, which often attracts controversies on social media and in the media at large. The actress started her acting journey in the television industry and it wouldn’t be wrong to assume that it was not a pleasant one as she described her time in the TV industry as “not good at all,” in the past interviews. In the recent interaction with PTI, the actress reflected on her journey and said, “ I started from zero, I didn’t know anyone here. I didn’t know how to work or how to get work, my dream was to do something big here. When I came here, I searched the numbers of many TV and film production houses on Google. I called everyone in a single day and asked for work. Some responded and some did not.”

Uorfi Javed said that she never had an important or successful career in television. A return to the television industry is out of the question now, added Uorfi Javed.
