Amitabh Bachchan teased Prabhas by saying he is scared of his sister. The producers of Kalki 2898 AD revealed that Prabhas’ sister was one of the many assistant directors of the film. In a new video shared by the makers of the Telugu film, Prabhas confirmed that his sister is a part of Kalki 2898 AD. Amitabh then revealed that Prabhas introduced him to his sister and added that she would boss him around.
Big B admitted he was taken aback by the confession and requested her not to hit him. “I know his sister was working with him. I was scared with her because one day, we were shooting with him. (He introduced) she’s my sister. (Prabhas said) when we were young, she used to boss me. After that, I told her ‘Mere ko mat maarna,'" Amitabh said.
Kalki 2898 AD producers Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt revealed director Nag Ashwin enjoys working with young film enthusiasts for it gives him different perspectives. Watch the interview below:
In the chat, Amitabh also revealed he was mesmerised by Nag Ashwin’s vision for the film. “When Nagi came to talk to me about this, he just brought a picture, a visual of what my character is going to look like and what Prabhas is going to look like. And I was this huge guy who’s shoving off ‘THE’ Prabhas. And al the fans of Prabhas, please, you know, please excuse me. Main haath jod ke maafi maang rahe hai, don’t massacre me after you see what I do," Amitabh said.
Amitabh continued, “That was so impressive. I said, ‘He’s already got a vision in mind, he’s got a picture of what he’s going to look like. Very rarely do you see that.’"
At a recent press conference held in Mumbai, Amitabh confessed he was taken aback with the concept of Kalki 2898 AD. “When Nag Ashwin came and explained his idea to me, for the long time after he left I was thinking, ‘what the hell is Nagi drinking?’" Amitabh said, leaving Rana and his other co-stars in splits.
Kalki 2898 AD is set to release on June 27, 2024.
